Help Systems

Online Help is not limited to software applications--users need help doing EVERYTHING! Online Help is easy and inexpensive to update, ensuring that users always have access to accurate, current information. AWW provides user assistance delivered via Internet Explorer or other browser. Our Help systems offer unique navigation ensuring that users can find the information they seek in three mouse clicks or less.

Until 2006 AWW used RoboHelp as its Help authoring tool. It is the industry standard, it is powerful, it creates nice-looking projects, and it writes absolutely AWFUL HTML code. Their support is terrible (having been sold three times, ultimately to Adobe), and for awhile it looked like Adobe would cease to develop RoboHelp.

For those reasons, AWW offered to beta test the new Help authoring tool, Madcap Flare. It is now publicly available and is a very impressive tool. MadCap is working hard to develop a product that excels where RoboHelp fails, and their customer service is superb.
